Steve McClure is one of the best rock-climbers in the world, having climbed many routes at the very limit of current grading. He's giving a lecture for Campfour called "Moving Goalposts" - all about his hardest sport routes over the last few years. From how getting up 'bens' project at Kilnsey totally changed his path in climbing and life as a climber to doing Overshadow, Hubble and other hard routes. He'll also be talking about being a sponsored climber and how different goals take you in different ways.

We have a private booking for the Manchester Ghost Walk as a club social night out. The walk with professional guide, Flecky Bennett, takes off from Manchester at St Peters Sq side of the Town Hall, congregate outside the Tourist Info Office at 6.50 to start at 7.00 prompt.
The cost is £6 per head – provided that we have a minimum of 15 on the night.
If you arrive late you can ring Rob on his mobile 07962027884 and he will direct you to catch us up. There will be a pub break half way round and Flecky assures me he will return us to a pub near the starting point about 9 pm.
