Hi all email should go around in time but in the meantime here are the details for the Bank hols:
Hello all you budding campers,
August is passing through really quickly and the Bank Hols will be with us shortly.
Now you ask what would you like to do with your Bank Hols??...........
Well Innominata is heading to 'sunny' Pembroke for a spot of:
- Camping
- Climbing
- Walking
- Sun bathing/swimming
- And any other activities anyone fancies!! (Coasteering kayking, biking)
The plan is to stay at:
St Petrox Campsite: OS Map OL36. GR 971975
Situated 3miles from Pembroke on B4319
A small farm campsite behind St Petrox church.

I'm not sure if we need to book individually or turn up so I will try to find out!!
Close to the campsite is:
Stackpole Pub:

I'm also informed that Pembroke Castle is close by and usually has an event on Bank Holidays if that takes your fancy.
Best of all though is the climbing - not being bias at all!!!
A few people have already shown interest - Howard, Helen and Richard, Roger and myself so get your name down for a fantastic sunny dry weekend down in Pembroke
Let me know if your planning to come and if anyone fancies a BBQ Sat night - worth bring disposable BBQ as I'm told supermarket often runs out!!
Rachel
(Thank you Margaret and Howard for info)
Extra info from Howard:
From Pembroke town, take the B4319 - it will probably be signposted to St Govans, Stackpole or Bosherton. When you get to St Petrox, which is just a church and a farm, the road makes a sharp zig-zag. Follow the road as it makes a sharp right and go past the church, then when the main road turns back left, turn RIGHT into a a narrow lane. The gate to the campsite is immediately on the right.

We usually camp in the lower field - from the main gate bear slightly leftwards and go through another gate, and look for us. I believe there are a few electric hook-ups but you'll need to be in the upper field, and will probably have to book - call the farm.
The site has very basic facilities, but is luxury compared with most in the area. There are 2 showers and 3 toilets, so queues can be lengthy at peak times - wet wipes and pee bottles are useful. There are fridges and freezers for cool blocks and food, but these must be labeled (you can get labels from the farm).
There are no pubs in walking distance so bring appropriate supplies. Pembroke has pubs, restaurants (including a decent chippy) and a small supermarket. But no gear shop, so make sure you don't forget anything. There's also a pub at St Govans, but it can get busy, and also the famous Ma Weston's tea shop.
