Details of the next Meet are as follows:

'Fronwydyr’  is located in the Snowdonia National Park near Llanberis and  is owned by The London Mountaineering Club

·         Location        -        in the village of Nant Peris

·         Grid Ref         -        606587

·         Dates            -        Friday night 23rd July to Sunday 25th (2 nights)

·         Cost             -        £15 per person for the weekend

·         Numbers        -        12 places are available

·         Additional info -        it has three bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, a drying room and showers

·         Parking             -           space for about 6 cars

I am quite happy to collect the monies for this Meet but we are planning to camp nearby rather than stay in the hut so would like a volunteer to run the Meet on the actual weekend please. Sam our new dog (or hound as some of you are calling him) is still learning social skills and camping is the easier option for us at present. It would be good to plan the usual group meal for the Saturday evening and I will check to see what time the Vaynol Arms serve food until for the Friday evening.

To book a place, please post cheques for £15 made payable to IMC or we will be at the BBQ this Tuesday evening, 22nd June at Laddow Rocks.

We have got a pair of men's grey socks (now washed) which had been stuffed into Richard's boots in the drying room last weekend.
